This annual event is presented by Urban-15 for the benefit of thousands of schoolchildren who are bused in to see the show from around the city. This year’s Holiday Laser Show was going to be bigger and better then ever – the venue was Lila Cockrell Theater, the large multi-balcony theater in the San Antonio Convention Center. To fill the venue properly we brought in extra lasers and effects.
We were able to give the audience in the balcony the added attraction of laser beams both above and below.
The show ran perfectly with three children’s shows daily, up to 2,000 kids each, and one evening performance on Tuesday night that was open to the public.
We had good news coverage also! Fox 29 sent J.R. Street out with a cameraman to do a segment on his nightly news show “Street’s Corner”.
