The town of Chadron is way up in the northwest corner of Nebraska, and this is where our first laser show was performed. We had quite a drive up through Texas and Colorado, seeing more and varied shades of green vegetation that I expected! And Chadron State Park is quite hilly, making for some interesting driving around.
And it was dark! We started the show after the band stopped at 10 PM, leaving nothing but inky blackness for the lasers to emerge.
We hung the huge 10 meter by 7 meter screen from the Nebraska Parks official bucket truck, with a background of huge trees that we could use for lasers!
