This year on December 22, 2024, Urban 15 held their annual Holiday Laser Show, featuring Laser Spectacles, Inc., at the Mabee Gymnasium at Our Lady of the Lake University. This was the first time in several years that the show has not been presented inside a formal theater.
How was the Laser Show?
Well, the show turned out to be superlative! The gym was really dark when we wanted it dark, and the gigantic screen that the university installed for us let the laser graphics dominate that end of the gym. There was also plenty of room for all of our added laser effects to shine – we had them going on all of the walls and the ceiling.
The show installation went well, and took the night before and the day of the show to be ready for the first show at 3 PM.
The audience experienced a special treat at the beginning of the laser show – the Urban 15 lighted dancers came out and performed special choreography during the opening song “Silent Night”!
