Laser Spectacles produced and performed a great laser light show for the 175th Anniversary of Williamson County on March 10, 2023. this was an anchor event for the year-long celebration of one of the oldest Texas counties. The celebration was held in the county seat, Georgetown, on the block surrounding the Courthouse. ur lasers were set up across the street from the Courthouse, and beam lasers were surrounding the courthouse to shoot out over the audience.
The laser show was a joy to produce, with the building itself proving to be a great “Screen” for the various aspects of the show. We worked with both the City of Georgetown and the Williamson Museum on gathering details for the show. The Williamson Museum helped us to find key historical points to illustrate in laser light for the show, and Steve Richards produced a special celebration sound track for the show.
I started the show with my own original piece of music “Powerful Flight” and explored the courthouse with intricate and varied laser mapping. We then used music from a local performer to present the historical highlights.
Finally we played back a completely choreographed laser graphics and beams show to the special Celebration soundtrack, and took the party to a new level! It was truly unforgettable!
